Senior Investment Data AnalystInvestment Data Strategy &

Springfield, MAThe OpportunityWe are seeking a highly motivated and
experienced Senior Investment Data Product Analyst responsible for
defining the strategy for end-to-end business lineage of critical
data, managing business data modeling for multiple domains, and
empowering data stewards to ensure catalog completeness and review.
The role reports to the Head of Investment Data Strategy and
Governance and involves tracking and reporting key data governance
metrics to data consumers and senior management. The ideal
candidate will have a strong understanding of investment data
requirements, proficiency in SQL and Python, and familiarity with
ETL tools like Informatica.The TeamYou will be a key member of the
Investment Data Strategy and Governance team within Investment
Management, focusing on sourcing, aggregating, and governing
investment data, and contributing to the development of a
comprehensive data governance framework and a strategic data
platform.The ImpactData Governance
- Ensure complete end-to-end lineage for critical data elements
and sub-domains, setting the strategy for data lineage across
Investment Operations and Investment Accounting.
- Empower data owners and stewards with tools to maintain
critical data lists and validate lineage for new data elements,
collaborating with ETX for tool development.
- Track and improve data catalog quality, ensuring completeness
and accuracy of data descriptions, rules, and metrics.Data Strategy
- Own and develop the business data model for investment domains,
working with stakeholders to translate business needs into logical
and physical models.
- Partner with ETX to implement data models and contribute to the
next-generation data platform, applying data management best
practices.
- Maintain ongoing communication with data owners to align on
requirements and future data needs.Communication
- Manage interactions between operational and technology teams,
translating business needs into technical requirements and
negotiating priorities.Metrics
- Establish KPIs for data governance adoption, track issues and
resolution times.Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Data Science, or
related field.
- 8+ years of experience as an Investment Data Product Analyst or
similar role.
- 5+ years working with investment data across various
instruments and understanding industry needs.
- 5+ years of experience in financial services, insurance, or
related industries.
- Proficiency in SQL and data manipulation tools like Python or
R.Ideal Qualifications
- Experience with data governance tools such as Collibra,
Alation, Data360.
- Certifications in Data Modelling, Data Governance, or Data
Science.
- Experience with Eagle STAR, Eagle Pace, Eagle DataMart is a
plus.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize
effectively.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and understanding of
financial instruments and data governance principles.What to Expect
