X and YouTube. Job Description Purpose Seeking hands on and
experienced Senior Financial Analyst to support Manufacturing,
Engineering, Contracting Operations at AbbVies Biologics Research
Center in Worcester MA. Reporting to the Cost Accounting Manager,
this role will interface with leadership across functions including
Production, Planning & Logistics, Purchasing, R&D and External
Commercial Manufacturing. The candidate will be responsible for
managing budgets across several late-stage clinical
programs/projects. Assist management in the analysis of operational
spend for the plant as well as aid in the preparation of the Plants
financial planning cycles (Plan, Update, Long Range Plan, Last Best
Estimate). Responsibilities Manage project/program budgets across
several late phase clinical programs. Analysis/reporting of
variances and providing management with clear insights into
drivers. Assist Finance leadership in the management of Plants
operational spend. Provide cost center owners with relevant
variance analysis and value add input. Develop meaningful reporting
schedules and models aimed at improving spend forecasting accuracy.
Assist management in the analysis of operational spend for the
plant as well as aid in the preparation of the Plants financial
planning cycles (Plan, Update, Long Range Plan, Last Best
Estimate). Perform month-end processes for whichinclude but not
limited to inventory reconciliations, booking monthly/quarterly
journal entries, analyzing manufacturing, purchase price variances
and spend variances. Support day-to-day business activities which
include the setup and standard costing of new materials, ensuring
timely and accurate completion of manufacturing process orders, and
supporting intercompany material transfers. Assist in the annual
material standard setting process. Develop and implement dashboards
and reports required for business continuity. Qualifications
Bachelors degree in accounting or finance required. Master's degree
and/or CPA preferred. Five (5) or more years of experiencein
accounting and/or finance. Preferred previous experience in large
matrixed organization. Budget, forecasting and reporting
experiencehighly preferred. Capable of handling multiple
priorities. Adaptability and initiative coupled with strong
interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to understand
financial planning cycle and prepare financial analysis as well as
analyze complex accounting and budget situations. Experience in SAP
preferred. Experience in Power BI/Tableau is a plus. Abilityto
communicate effectively Strong analytical skills Ability to manage
multipletime sensitive deliverables across a highly matrixed
organization Strong business partnership skills and and ability to
collaborate effectively with key stakeholders. Driven and motivated
to drive process improvements. Additional Information Applicable
