Job Description:

Big River Veterinary Service is seeking a friendly and dedicated veterinary receptionist to join our team. We are a busy one doctor, family orientated small animal hospital that offers unparalleled veterinary care ranging from routine preventative healthcare to specialized surgical procedures, orthopedic surgeries, emergency medicine, dentistry and stem cell therapy. Job duties include answering multiple phone lines, greeting clients and patients, checking in/out patients, admitting and discharging surgery patients, scheduling appointments, processing payments, and ensuring that the reception area and lobby is clean and presentable at all times. Applicants must have at least three years of veterinary reception experience, have excellent phone and client communication skills, a strong ability to multitask, able to remain calm under pressure, have strong decision making skills, maintain a positive attitude, demonstrate a sincere desire to exceed our clientele's expectations and be able to work as part of a team as well as independently. Full time position with no weekend shifts required. Compensation based on experience. 3 years of veterinary experience required - serious inquiries only.
