2395 Artists is in need of Script about a group of musicians from the area. Although it will be a Biopic, it will require a highly creative and inventive sensibility. To bring the story out in truly colorful way that showcases the characters, time and situations in powerful and unique light, befitting of the story, you will need to immerse yourself and spend sufficient time with each character. Interviews will need to be conducted and recorded. It will involve, a great deal of research, to flesh out the characters and events, to build a whirlwind dynamic. Payment for the script will be allotted when the Film is financed. Having said that, the Film will be preceded by a Documentary that will start filming in October. A fee from the proceeds from the funding of the Doc will be allocated to your part in creating the Feature. The reasoning behind this is that you will be included in the Doc as well to highlight future events. The Film is planned to run 90 minutes, with additional live segments. Live footage is available to glean banter. It will be set from the early-mid 1950s to the present, with a primary focus from 1979 to 1989. The main arc should center on 1979 to the first half of 1981. The scripts timeline can utilize flashbacks or run in sequence. The subjects of the film used a great deal of mystery in their marketing and we would like to have the aspect mystery run thought the film. The idea is to keep the audience guessing until each premise is unfolded. You will have access to the musicians and family. Three of the musicians have passed, but there should be enough people to help fill in the gaps. There are fans and staff members that remain close to the band, opening a wide range of perspective and characters to build a story around. The story should be a comedic drama. The main character is a respected visionary, a hero and an anti-hero. He is truly hated and loved, lost and passionate, a leader hiding his fear, cold and vulnerable, driven and destructive. A solid well rounded 3 dimensional persona. Although you will have to fill out aspects of the dialogue and story, we would like the events to remain true to the timelines. The real life counterparts should see it as an entertaining and innovative retelling, that is as accurate as it can be, given the circumstances. To align with the sense of mystery, it would be prudent, if they too, were unsure of where the story was going at certain points.There are many individuals, events and circumstances to make that a viable option. Because of the years that have passed, it may take some coaxing to obtain a full accounting of each part of the story from multiple angles and perceptions. You will most likely need to hear their retelling several times toattain all the information. Being present during the Documentary and having access to the raw footage will help in that quest. If funding is available Filming should begin in late 2020 or early 2021. This would leave the deadline for the script during the second quarter of 2020. Sooner, obviously would be better, but obtaining the best possible version, is the goal. We will work with you and help provide anything you may need to complete the process. If selected, you can begin immediately.
