Job Overview POSITION SUMMARY: The Digital Marketing Intern will be responsible for support within the Marketing department. The individual will work on campaigns across multiple channels (website, social media, email, search engine, etc) to analyze marketing methods and platforms. The candidate will be mentored by established professionals in the digital marketing field and gain exposure to retail marketing. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Gain a solid understanding of the marketing channels and general strategy of the department
• Conduct research into effective marketing methods and evaluate the potential value to the company
• Compile, arrange, and evaluate data from digital marketing campaigns to identify viable marketing tactics
• Shadow multiple department members to gain understandings of individual roles in the department
• Assist with projects, programs or services to execute department objectives
• Participate in developing department goals, objectives, and systems
• Acquire an understanding of the business environment, conduct, compliance and ethics of a retail organization
• Effectively utilize virtual means to communicate efficiently and work independently under remote conditions Requirements EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
  • Working towards a degree in marketing or related field
  • Computer skills with Google tools a plus
  • Strong math skills or digital marketing experience a plus
  • Possess a valid driver's license and/or reliable transportation to attend training at corporate offices ATTRIBUTES:

      • Remote internship: work will be completed outside of the company locations. The intern is responsible to set up a professional and ergonomically safe work environment and to be available during working hours. The intern will also bring their own device/s to complete all work (e.g. all computer hardware and software, including audio and video capabilities for virtual meetings; and reliable Internet connection with ability to access the Google platform for virtual meetings and applications used for work).
      • Intern is responsible to work within a climate controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential. Sedentary, and frequent near vision use for reading and computer use.
