You'll implement age-appropriate activities, follow daily routines, collaborate with fellow educators, and communicate with families - all while turning everyday moments into meaningful learning experiences. YOUR HOURS This teaching position has full-time and part-time options, with shifts Monday to Friday. REQUIREMENTS We're excited to welcome educators at every stage of their journey-whether you're just getting started in early childhood education or bringing years of teaching experience with you. For Experienced Teachers (Lead/Associate Roles) , you must meet one of the following New Hampshire state requirements: Completion of 18 credits in related coursework, including 3 credits in child/human growth and development, plus 1000 hours of experience Completion of 12 credits in related coursework plus 3000 hours of experience Completion of 9 credits in related coursework, including 3 credits in child/human growth and development Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or equivalent 5 years of experience as a licensed family childcare provider with no imposed enforcement actions Completion of the New Hampshire Early Childhood Apprenticeship Program 1000 hours of supervised childcare experience in a licensed program and completion of a 2-year vocational course in career and technical education with 9 credits in related coursework Documentation that you were qualified for and employed as a lead teacher on or before November 6, 2017 For General and Entry-Level Teaching Roles : 16 years old Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills Ability to lift, carry, and care for children safely Prior experience in early childhood education or childcare (preferred) CDA credential or a degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (preferred) OUR MISSION The Nest Family Center is New Hampshire's first fully licensed hourly childcare center, opening in June 2024.
