opportunity is available for a full-time paraprofessional to
support a unique educational program serving a high school student
with Autism who is deaf. This position, based in Nashua, NH, offers
the chance to work closely within a cohesive team dedicated to
fostering the students educational and developmental growth.
Responsibilities: Provide support as part of a multidisciplinary
team in a specialized program for students with Autism. Utilize
proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) as a certified
interpreter to communicate effectively with the student. Assist
with data collection aligned with the students individualized
educational plan, ensuring accurate documentation to guide
instructional strategies. Collaborate with educators and therapists
to implement behavior support techniques tailored to the students
needs. Engage in ongoing training specific to the NECC program for
Autism during the contract period. Qualifications and Experience:
Previous experience working as a paraprofessional in a school
setting, preferably with students with Autism. Certification and
fluency in American Sign Language with interpreting skills. Strong
team collaboration and communication skills. Ability to document
and track student progress meticulously. Location: Nashua, NH,
supporting a high school Grade 9 caseload. Contract Details:
Full-time position (35-37.5 hours per week), beginning ASAP through
June 2026. One paraprofessional position is available. This role is
ideal for a dedicated professional passionate about special
education and skilled in ASL interpretation, ready to make a
