deliver more impact together. Role Description Arcadis is seeking a
Project Controls Engineer to support our team in Boston. In this
role, you will focus on schedule development and cost estimating,
supporting bridge and/or transit infrastructure projects. Your role
will ensure robust project planning, monitoring, and control to
deliver on time and on budget. Role accountabilities Develop,
maintain, and monitor detailed project schedules using tools like
Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and other Create look-ahead
schedules, baseline updates, and recovery plans Perform critical
path analysis, time?impact analyses (TIA), and delay matrices Lead
progress reporting, schedule variance, and performance monitoring
against baseline Conduct quantity takeoffs, apply unit rates, and
prepare cost estimates aligned with bridge/transit scope Manage
cost forecasts, budget vs actuals, cash flow and Earned Value
Management (EVM) analyses Assist in bid preparation, developing
Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), cost coding, and change order
documentation Align schedules and estimates across engineering,
procurement, and construction teams; integrate multidisciplinary
inputs Facilitate communication and coordination—serving as a
liaison among PMs, engineers, subcontractors, and clients Support
risk analysis, scenario planning, and cash flow forecasting
Maintain change control logs, schedule/control registers, and be
part of claims or dispute resolution if needed Required
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction
Management, or a related field. Hands-on experience with scheduling
and estimating software Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project strongly
preferred Demonstrated background in bridge or transit
infrastructure, heavy civil, or similar complex projects Key Skills
and Abilities : Familiar with estimating practices and software.
Strong analytical mindset, meticulous attention to detail, and
excellent communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively
across disciplines and manage dynamic project challenges. Why

The salary range for this position is $90,000 - $140,000. Actual
salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as
experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and
