Job Description:

The ideal candidate will be comfortable generating frequent financial reports for senior management. They should track financial information in a well-organized manner and assist the Controller in all aspects related to finance at the organization. In addition, this person is also responsible for month-end reconciliations, internal controls and internal management reporting and the support of external SEC reporting.Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage all recurring accounting transactions
• Hands on involvement in preparation of analysis of all monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
• Provide data analysis in both formal and ad hoc presentation formats
• Ensure all reconciliations are completed and reviewed
• Responsible for all system set-ups for the accounting side of the ERP system
• Support preparation of data for outsourced corporate tax return
• Ensure internal controls operate effectively: preparation and review of financial reports as part of the Sarbanes-Oxley 404 certification process
• Monitor internal compliance.
• Prepare financial record supporting SEC filings through financial reporting systems
• Support public company audit: schedule preparation, management of information flow
• Continuous improvement projects to shorten reporting cycle, improve NetSuite usage efficiency, global ERP roll-out.
• Coordinate with IT functional specialist on improvement initiatives.
• Support Corporate Controller on department initiatives and projects.Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or relevant field
  • 5 + Years in a manufacturing and ERP environment.
  • Strong background in corporate accounting operations and internal controls.
  • Public Accounting experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong technical, analytical, communication and presentation skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
  • Strong ability to lead a team.
