Senior Risk Manager, Consumer Banking Risk Oversight DescriptionThe Senior Risk Manager, Consumer Banking Risk Oversight has responsibility for the execution of the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Risk Programs, Risk Appetite and Material Risk Identification, and Consumer Banking Risk Programs, Risk Roadmap/Strategy and Divisional Risk Committee (DRC) Reporting. The RO will verify that Consumer Banking Risk practices are suitable for the size and complexity of the Bank, align to the ERM Risk Governance Framework and meet the needs of stakeholders. The incumbent guides the risk programs with understanding and knowledge of regulatory expectations and industry practices related to front line units. More specifically, the RO is responsible for the aggregation and analysis of risks across the Consumer Banking functions and by risk category. In this capacity, the RO will write/assemble the monthly Consumer Banking DRC reporting, as well as reporting to the regulatory agencies, as needed.Additional responsibilities include:Preparation of Division Accountability Review Panel (DARP) incidences for consideration, DRC Meeting Minutes and Matters Arising, and Risk CommunicationsGood leadership skills; ability to motivate, develop and mentorAbility to think strategically, translate data into information and determine/assess emerging risksKnowledge of regulatory compliance requirements and risk management principlesGood analytical and assessment skillsWorking knowledge of Finance and Accounting principles and practicesAbility to lead and adapt to changeKnowledge of credit, strategic, operational, compliance, liquidity, interest rate, market/price, and reputational risksKnowledge of business processes and/or products and operations; regulatory requirements; and key processes, controls and exposure areasDecisiveness and sound judgment on a consistent basisProject management skills to support multiple assignments on behalf of various stakeholdersQualificationsRequired Skills/Experience: 7+ years' experience gained from working in financial services industry Risk management experience gained from working in financial services industry Experience in an organization that is under regulatory oversight and scrutiny Experience delivering a value added risk management program Experience working with the regulatory agencies of publicly traded firms Education: Bachelor degree, preferably with a major in business, or an advanced degree in a related field MBA preferred Professional Certifications preferred Hours & Work ScheduleHours per Week: 40Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8-5Why Work with UsAt Citizens, you'll find a customer-centric culture built around helping our customers and giving back to our local communities.
