Shift Details: Day shift with rotating weekends and holidays.
Approximately 1 weekend per month.

Job Summary: Responsible for performing all technical aspects of
Radiography and Mammography exams according to department procedure
and protocols. Processes requisitions and records patient
information. Qualifications Education: Graduate of a JCERT
accredited program for Radiologic Technologists. Experience: No
additional experience necessary beyond completion of clinical
internship required to take mammography certification boards. One
year experience as a mammographer preferred. License and
Certification: Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic
Technology (ARRT). Mammography Certification upon hire or eligible.
Current State of Connecticut Radiographer license. Basic Life
Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND
ABILITIES
Ability to read and understand oral and written instructions, and
effectively communicate information. Basic computer skills
(including opening/reading email, basic internet use).
Working knowledge of Radiologic Technology and Mammography.
Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to communicate with
departments, employees, physicians and managers. Must be organized,
flexible and a team player. Ability to work in a stressful
environment. Ability to handle multiple priorities. Strong
commitment to customer service. PROBLEM SOLVING AND DECISION
MAKING
Requires the ability to exercise discretion and use good judgment
to perform duties promptly and consistently with little direction.
Requires the ability to take the appropriate action in response to
changes, circumstances or problems. Requires the ability to
recognize problem situations and refer them to the appropriate
