The Division of General Surgery at Hartford HealthCare Medical Group is a leading provider of comprehensive General Surgery resources in New England. The practice is recognized for its expertise, quality personalized care, and experience in the use of leading-edge techniques such as minimally-invasive surgery Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner (APRN) Role Scope At HHC Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners enjoy the full scope of advanced practice and receive recognition and respect for their contributions to high quality patient care. We currently seek a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner (APRN) to partner with Cardiologists located in Windham and Norwich areas. The selected candidate will also provide inpatient rounding in the morning one to two times per week at Windham Hospital and outpatient care including stress testing and remote device monitoring and General Cardiology office visits.   • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner (APRN) Master's program preferred
  • Licensed, or eligible to be licensed, as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner (APRN) in the state of Connecticut
  • Certification or eligible to be certified as a Physician Assistant or National Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner (APRN)
  • Cardiology experience preferred
  • Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner (APRN) experience required.
