Business Integra Inc is seeking a local contract nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a local contract nursing job in Boston, Massachusetts.Job Description & Requirements

• Shift: 12 hours, nights
• Employment Type: Local ContractPosition Title: Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse - PM Shift (12-Hour)Contract Duration: 13 Weeks -Required Experience:
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a PACU setting.
  • Proficient in Phase 1 recovery for complex cases, including:
    • Neurosurgery
    • Thoracic procedures
    • Vascular surgeries
    • Orthopedic spine operations
    • Demonstrated ability to independently interpret telemetry rhythm strips and identify heart blocks.
    • Must achieve a minimum score of 84% on a telemetry examination on the first day of assignment.Preferred Experience:
      • Experience in pediatric care.
      • Certification in Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC).Required Certifications:
        • Basic Life Support (BLS)
        • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
        • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)Unit Overview:
          • Handles a diverse range of cases, including:
            • Trauma
            • Pediatrics
            • Orthopedics
            • General Surgery
            • Cardiac Catheterization
            • Interventional Radiology (IR)
            • Neuro Interventional Radiology
            • Electrophysiology (EP)
            • Manages an average of 30-60 cases daily.
            • Operates continuously, 24/7.Licensure Requirement:
