Long Term Assignment (LTA) Role Summary: WIH-ED RN - 36 HR
(NIGHTS): A Hospital in Providence, RI requires a skilled and
experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse to fill an open
staffing need in its specialized Women's ED. This is a short-term,
high-intensity assignment providing primary nursing care to female
patients presenting with a wide range of emergency conditions, from
general trauma to OB/GYN crises. Assignment Details: - Start Date
(HARD STOP): November 17, 2025 - End Date (HARD STOP): January 17,
2026 - Duration: 8 Weeks (No extensions will be offered) - Open
Positions: 1 out of 1 - Experience Required: Minimum three (3)
years of recent Emergency Medicine experience. MANDATORY Shift
Information: - Weekly Hours: 36 hours - Shift Pattern: NIGHTS ONLY
- Shift Times: 19:00 (7:00 PM) - 07:30 (7:30 AM) - On-Call: No Core
Responsibilities: The Registered Nurse is expected to apply the
full nursing process—assessment, planning, intervention, and
evaluation—to provide comprehensive, safe, and compassionate care
to patients and their families. - Patient Care: Provide primary
nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department, specializing
in issues relevant to women's health. - Collaboration: Adhere to
the American Nurse's Association Standards of Professional Nursing
Practice, collaborating with physicians and care teams. - Physical
Requirements: Must be able to lift a patient (with assistance),
help them into a chair, wheelchair, or stretcher, and transport
patients. - Documentation: Maintain accurate and complete medical
records. Required Qualifications - Licensure: Must possess and
maintain a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of
Rhode Island. - Experience: Emergency Medicine experience is
required (Minimum 3 years). - Certifications: Maintains CPR and any
other credentials or certifications necessary to be competent as an
ED Registered Nurse in an area of specialty (e.g., ACLS, PALS). -
Charting System (MANDATORY): EPIC experience is required. -
Vaccinations: COVID VAX & FLU VAX are required. - Language: Must be
