required License: ARRT with RCIS Certifications: ACLS Must-Have: 2
years' experience as a Radiologic Technologist required. 1 year of
traveler experience required. Description: The Cardiac
Catheterization Technologist II acts as a critical member of the
patient care team within the department. This role involves
collaborating fully with other care team members to ensure
continuity of care for patients. The technologist promotes a
philosophy of patient/family-focused care in all interactions with
patients, families, and hospital personnel. Focus is placed on
understanding and meeting customer needs. The laboratory averages
over 30 cases per day, with case types ranging from outpatient
right heart catheterizations and stable coronary angiograms to
complex coronary, structural, and vascular interventions.
Weeknight, weekend, and holiday call possible during the contract,
but no weekend or holiday shifts will be assigned. In a 13-week
contract, the candidate can expect 1-3 weeknights (total) and
possibly 1 weekend (not guaranteed). The primary charting system is
Epic, and hemodynamic measurements are done on the Siemens Sensis
system. All procedure rooms have been upgraded within the last 1-5
years. There is a 12-bay peri-procedural space for patient
