Job Description:
Locum OB/GYN (L&D) MD/DO needed for November dates through
2026. 6 shifts per month - 12/hr days/nights OR 24 hour shifts!
Currently have 3 OB providers working here, need more for NOV
start. Credentialing: 30-60 days Start: 11/3/2025 End: April 2026
LOA: 6 month contract to start will accept year long contracts.
Schedule: 6 shifts/month (for 12 hours) or 3 per month (for 24
hours), they will take more than that if offered by provider.
Patient Volume: Varies. Close to 3,000 births per year. 15 NICU
beds. Location is a Trauma Level 1 facility. EMR: Meditech License:
MA license Certifications: • Applicants must possess an MD/DO
degree from an accredited medical school and have or be eligible to
obtain a Massachusetts Medical License • Applicants must be board
certified or be an active candidate for board certification in
Obstetrics and Gynecology Relevant Experience/Skill Set Needed: 1.
Labor and Delivery Management: Oversee and manage the care of
patients in labor, including monitoring, pain management, and
delivery assistance. 2. Emergency Obstetric Care: Provide immediate
response and treatment for obstetric emergencies. 3. Vaginal and
Cesarean Deliveries: Perform deliveries, including cesarean
sections, as needed. 4. Postpartum Care: Monitor and manage
patients during the postpartum period while hospitalized. 5.
Collaboration: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure
coordinated and high-quality patient care. 6. Consultation: Provide
consultative services for midwives and family medicine providers
when obstetric expertise is required.
