qualifications will not be considered. Opportunity for a Physical
Therapist to support K-12 students in a school setting, located in
Hamden, CT. This full-time, contract position focuses on providing
compensatory services aimed at enhancing gross motor skills for
elementary students, some of whom have limited mobility and need
assistance using a stander. Key Responsibilities: Deliver physical
therapy services tailored for school-aged children, focusing on
improving gross motor function. Work closely with students
requiring compensatory services, including time spent in a stander
to support limited mobility. Develop and implement individualized
therapy plans within an elementary caseload. Collaborate with
educators, caregivers, and other professionals to support student
success. Document therapy sessions and progress in compliance with
school and regulatory standards. Qualifications: Licensed Physical
Therapist with experience in pediatric or school-based settings
preferred. Skilled in providing compensatory physical therapy
services to children with mobility challenges. Knowledge of gross
motor development and intervention strategies. Ability to work
effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Commitment to
maintaining accurate records and participating in ongoing
professional development. Location: Hamden, CT Schedule: Full-Time,
35 hours per week Assignment Type: Contract, School Year (CSY) This
