Job Description:

Catholic Medical Center invites applications for the position of Certified EP Lab Tech PRN. This dynamic role involves working within our state-of-the-art electrophysiology (EP) labs where we are committed to providing cutting-edge cardiac care. The Certified EP Lab Tech will play a critical role in our team, supporting both diagnostic and interventional procedures, and contributing to our mission of enhancing patient outcomes through innovative cardiac care. Ideal candidates will be highly skilled in the setup, operation, and maintenance of EP equipment, and demonstrate meticulous attention to safety and patient care protocols. Prepare and maintain EP lab equipment and instruments before, during, and after procedures. Assist in the performance of complex diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the EP lab. Monitor patient statuses and provide updates to the healthcare team. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards. Provide technical assistance to physicians during electrophysiological tests and treatments. Document all procedural steps and maintain accurate patient records. Proficiency in the operation of EP lab technology and equipment. Strong understanding of cardiac rhythm management. Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) or Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCIS) required. BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred.
