life challenges to achieve their fullest potential. Summary: The
Day Program Supervisor assists with oversight of the daily
operation of a Day Habilitation program or an Employment Program
for individuals with disabilities. Responsibilities include
supervision of staff, supervising staff activities, coordinating
staff activities to meet the program objectives, and overseeing
member services. The Day Program Supervisor will assist in
developing, implementing and supervising trainings, and case
management requirements of individuals. They will provide direct
care support as needed and additional coordination of program
duties as requested. Schedule: Monday- Friday 8:00am-4:00pm (40
Hours) Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Supervision of direct
care staff, including conducting supervision meetings with staff at
least once a month, coaching and mentoring for skill development
and addressing any disciplinary issues that may arise. Provide
interim coverage during Day Program Manager's or Day Program
Manager - Employment absence as directed by and with the support of
the Director or any other interim member of program management
assigned to the facility. Provide leadership to staff by working
with the program manager to create a cohesive team environment.
Oversee the development and implementation of the ISP and/or DHSP.
Oversee and assure that all documentation is completed within
timelines and meets appropriate regulatory requirements. Assists
with supervising and managing all data collection. Ensure annual
performance evaluations are completed on staff, including goals and
accomplishments. Delivery evaluations timely, raising any questions
or concerns with your manager. Liaison to the Clinical Team and
staff, working with the team on referrals and development of
services within the site. Assist with maintaining a budget for the
program within allowed spending. Maintain communication and
collaborative relationships with other service providers like Mass
Health and DDS (if applicable). Serve as liaison between Day
Services, Residential and Family/guardian for individuals. Maintain
sites according to regulations (such as DDs, Mass Health, CARF,
etc.) and Bridgewell standards as applicable. Create opportunities
and provide support to individuals in making decisions to develop
their skills and foster independence. Maintain appropriate
certifications (i.e. First Aid, CPR, OSHA, Fire Safety, Human
Rights, PABC, etc.) and ensure that all staff maintains their
certifications. Provide support to the Program Manager in following
up with the employees at the program and helping them schedule
their in-person trainings and completing their online trainings.
Maintain other additional required training and certifications
required by the program. Demonstrate the core philosophy of

an administrative assistant, the Program Supervisor shall oversee
and ensure that attendance tracking and billing processes are
completed within the designated timelines. Other duties as
assigned. Required Education/Experience: Bachelor's Degree is
preferred OR Associate's degree with a minimum of 2 years'
experience in a direct care role. OR High school diploma with a
minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a direct care role. Previous
experience in a similar supervisor/leadership role will be highly
preferred. Working experience in understanding the clinical needs
of the people served is required. A valid US driver's license and
one year of driving experience is required. Knowledge/Skills:
Ability to supervise staff to performance standards Conflict
Resolution and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of Day
Habilitation and/or Employment regulations and CARF standards.
Knowledge of Behavior Management and Human Rights. Excellent
organizational skills and both written and verbal communications
skills. Computer literacy to include ability to proficiently use
Microsoft products and web-based applications supported by the
agency. Ability to work as a cohesive team member with other
inter-disciplinary team members including, BCBA's and nursing.
Ability to set priorities for self and team in alignment with
departmental goals. Ability to delegate tasks effectively,
communicate expectations clearly, and establish deadlines. Ability
to encourage employee engagement and ensure an inclusive work
environment. Ability to be certified and maintain such
certification, in PPS, PABC Tier 1 and 2, medication
administration, First Aid/CPR and any other certification/training
required based on program needs and Bridgewell policies and
procedures. Must have a current US driver's license and one year of
driving experience. Demonstrate ability to drive a 12-passenger van
and/or a wheelchair van. Physical Demands: The physical demands of
staff working in residential programs assisting people with their
care needs are varied and require the employee to be able to
maneuver people of varying weights, and provide lifting, balance
support and physical intervention in several scenarios. Described
below are essential requirements of staff to ensure the safety of
employees and people served alike. Reasonable accommodations may be

persons served and consideration of safety factors related to any
program or position within a program. While performing the duties
of this job, the employee is required to be able to: Climb stairs,
physically assist people served, often weighing more than 200
pounds, with movement, bathroom routines including toileting,
assisting with entry and exit of a tub or shower, getting into and
out of wheelchairs or dealing with assists that include physical,
behavioral and medical interventions. Additional lifting or moving
may be required as part of activities in the daily living of people
