Job Description:
Join American Medical Response (AMR), a national leader in
medical transportation, as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT).
In this critical role, you will be responsible for providing
emergency medical services and transportation for communities,
ensuring swift, safe, and effective treatment. Working closely with
healthcare professionals, you will be on the front lines of
emergency care, responding to urgent calls and providing lifesaving
assistance. This position requires a dynamic and resilient
individual who thrives in fast-paced environments and is committed
to the highest standards of patient care. Respond to emergency
calls, providing medical support and transportation as necessary.
Assess the condition of patients, administer emergency medical
treatment, and make decisions under pressure. Operate and drive
ambulances and other emergency vehicles safely and efficiently.
Maintain a clean and stocked ambulance with necessary supplies and
equipment. Document and report all patient interactions and the
care provided. Participate in continuous training and professional
development sessions. Proficiency in emergency medical treatment
and life support procedures. Ability to operate emergency vehicles
under high stress conditions. Strong organizational skills to
manage medical equipment efficiently. Excellent communication
skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare
professionals. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance
Life Insurance 401k State Certified Emergency Medical Technician
(EMT) Certification. CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
required. Valid state driver’s license with clean driving
record.
