A school-based healthcare role is available for a part-time
Registered Nurse to support the elementary student population in
Wakefield, RI. This position involves providing nursing care to a
single student while accompanying the student to and from school
via bus, ensuring health needs are met throughout the day. Key
Responsibilities: - Provide direct nursing care and health
assessments to an elementary-aged student with individualized
health needs. - Monitor and manage the students health while riding
the bus to and from school. - Collaborate with school staff to
maintain a safe and healthy environment. - Document nursing
interventions and maintain accurate health records. - Respond
promptly to any health emergencies or concerns involving the
assigned student. Qualifications: - Valid Registered Nurse (RN)
license for Rhode Island. - Current CPR certification. - Experience
or interest in pediatric or school nursing preferred. - Ability to
manage health care needs in a school and transportation setting. -
Strong communication and organizational skills. Employment Details:
- Part-time contract role. - Approximately 4 hours per day (2 hours
morning, 2 hours afternoon). - Five days per week. - Caseload
includes one elementary-aged student. Location:Wakefield, Rhode

Compensation for this position ranges from $33.50 to $52.00.
