Load and unload cargo, ensuring that all handling is performed in a safe and timely manner. Maintain logs and records according to DOT regulations and company policies. Perform vehicle inspections before and after each trip to ensure operational safety. Provide excellent service to customers and maintain professional communication at all points of contact. Follow all company safety policies as well as state and federal transportation regulations. Report any incidents or accidents to management immediately. Safe driving practices and ability to handle truck in a variety of weather and traffic conditions. Basic knowledge of truck maintenance. Good physical condition to load and unload cargoes. Effective communication skills necessary for interacting with dispatchers and customers. Time management skills to ensure timely deliveries and pickups.
