Summary Of Position

This is an entry level position requiring the ability to work closely with end users, both internal and external, soliciting user requirements and translating them into technical design specifications.

Position Functions

The Developer I /II is responsible for maintenance of existing Internal and External software systems.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

This position requires expert level knowledge of ColdFusion MX, ColdFusion10, and SQL Server 2000/2012 experience. Additionally, this position requires strong problem-solving, organizational, written and verbal communication skills; the ability to work in a fast-paced multi-tasked environment and perform detailed follow-up.

The candidate must be self-motivated and be able to work independently with general supervision. The candidate must be team-oriented, demonstrate the ability to share knowledge and work effectively in a team environment with all levels of company staff including management, underwriting and claims with a customer service focus on internal and external customers. The candidate must have the ability to translate business requirement to technical specifications.

Other Requirements

Qualified candidates will possess the following:

• BS/BA Preferred (preferably in MIS, Engineering or Business field)
• One plus years experience with ColdFusion coding.
  
  Physical Requirements
  
  Must be able to sit and work quietly for long periods of time, operate a computer, and communicate on a telephone.
  
  Supervisory Responsibilities
  
  None
  
  Equipment Used
  
  Computer, telephone, fax machine, copy machine, postage meter, scanner.
  
  Hours of Operation and Working Conditions
  
  This position's work hours are Monday through Friday 9am to 5pm, in a business-casual office environment. This position will require occasional weekend work as well as after hours follow up to ensure that all team members are able to access and utilize company data.
