Reasonable accommodations for medical and religious objections will of course be considered.Keep reading to learn more about this opportunity to join the Cox family of businesses.Outside Plant Engineering and Construction (OSPC) is seeking an innovative Manager of Technology - OSPC Knowledge Management System. You will lead a team of resources responsible for Creating new knowledge content, posting content and managing the platform by assessing needs of our OSPC customers. Document complex functional and technical requirements for tool and solution development/implementation.You will need to drive a team of resources to deliver on the needs of the organization. You will communicate well with the OSPC E&C Executives, Field VPs, Directors, Managers and Supervisors. You should have a understanding of processes, programs and tools and will be working on activities that include, but are not limited to tools/solutions that enable the knowledge management system enhancements and growth. You should have experience working directly with stakeholders to elicit all relevant information needed to document comprehensive requirements and understand knowledge management needs. As such, the ability to communicate complex information in simple ways is a plus.Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

  • Manages a team of resources that focus on Application Engineers who manage day to day content creation and Knowledge Management professionals
  • Manages the knowledge sharing process at an OSPC organizational level
  • Requires a dedication to KM principles, the ability to discuss the benefits of knowledge sharing and the vision to ensure KM initiatives are adopted by the organization
  • Manages the day to day activities of employees to ensure efficient and quality delivery of content and tooling requests
  • Provides and conducts analytic efforts to support business operations, which may include data analysis.
  • Lends efforts to move the organization to knowledge centricity
  • Document complex functional and technical requirements for tool and solution development/implementation
  • Champions cross-organizational communities of practice, collects potential tool enhancements by using elicitation techniques like brainstorming, requirements workshops, focus groups, etc.- Validates requirements - cross referencing with all stakeholders to gain buy-in
    • Analyze and interpret requirements for viability against the business objective and/or capability gap.
    • Add value through recommendation of workaround, alternative solutions, etc.- Prototype and model requirements - ensuring that stakeholders get a feel of what will be delivered as a final solution
      - Assist throughout the development and testing lifecycle activities - participate in unit testing of functionality and features to ensure alignment to requirement.
      • Prepare end user documentation and manuals, along with show and tell and/or overview sessions of the final solution.Qualifications:Minimum:
        • 7 years of process, data analyst, requirements management, project management experience working with a variety of data sources/tools/project types
        • 3-5 years of leadership experience, formally and/or informally managing a team of resources to build data objects and reporting
        • Analysis skills
        • Visualization and prototyping skills
        • Facilitation and observational skills
        • Business structure knowledge
        • Process modeling skills
        • Understanding of relationship between regions, division and corporate business partnersPreferred:
          • Experience managing data requirements/development projects with a close attention to detail and high-quality performance preferred.
          • Conducts business impact analysis and validation studies and market research through all stages:
          • Facilitates meetings and presentations to senior leadership.
          • Experience with creative and analytical thinking
