Job Description:

The Developer/Programmer is a key member of the IT product development team. This hands-on position is responsible for the development and maintenance of technology products. The desired candidate will work with infrastructure and support teams to respond to and resolve issues in a timely manner.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: "Essential functions" are primarily job duties that incumbents must be able to perform unassisted or with some reasonable accommodation made by the employer.--- Development, maintenance and support of new product features, enhancements, and deployment. --- Design solutions that meet the organization's short term and long term needs while adhering to the corporate architectural and growth strategy.--- Support the implementation and migration of legacy data to new product platforms.--- Technical analysis of complex issues and functions and the ability to communicate them to a broad audience.--- Provide documentation of all designs, code reviews, source code control, release procedures and release notes.--- Support industry best practices and procedures.--- Flexibility/ability to extend work time beyond standard work hours as directed by the needs of the company.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIREMENTS:--- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field--- 1-5 years applicable work experience in a developer role --- Technical experience in MySQL 5.x, MSSQL Server 2012-2019, XML, SSRS required--- Strong knowledge of Angular Jest preferred--- Experience with coding custom EDI interfaces preferred--- Experience in designing and coding stored procedures using SQL--- Excellent practical knowledge of MySQL/MSSQL statements and constructs: queries, stored procedures, functions, triggers, views, and tables--- Ability to write efficient MySQL/MSSQL queries and reports--- Ability to troubleshoot and tune performance of existing reports--- Experience with testing techniques--- Strong written, communication and organizational skills--- Ability to adhere to a consistent coding style and document coding procedures--- Self-starter, motivated, stays up to date on current technology and trends--- Must have the ability to learn and work quickly, working closely with team members on customized and complex projects requiring a high degree of analytical and technical skill--- Requires good problem-solving ability, initiative, creativity, and judgment
