Job Description:
At GEICO, where customer satisfaction and legal excellence meet,
we seek a Litigation Preparation Clerk to enhance our Legal
Department by supporting our litigation team with the preparation
and organization of case documentation. This role involves critical
administrative tasks that contribute to the overall efficiency and
success of our legal proceedings. The ideal candidate will be
highly organized, proficient in document management systems, and
possess a keen eye for detail. Organize and maintain documentation
related to insurance litigation cases, including filing,
retrieving, and managing files. Prepare legal documents such as
briefs, pleadings, appeals, agreements, and contracts under the
supervision of legal staff. Assist in the preparation for court
trials, hearings, and arbitration sessions. Coordinate and track
deadlines for pending litigation cases. Handle confidential
information with discretion and in compliance with applicable laws.
Support the legal team with research and data entry tasks.
Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to gather
information and documents required for legal procedures. Proficient
in Microsoft Office Suite and legal management software. Strong
organizational and time management skills. Excellent written and
verbal communication skills. Ability to work under pressure and
meet deadlines. Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
