Description The assembler will work independently, with moderate
supervision, or as part of a production team to perform component
assembly, sub-assembly, final assembly, calibration, inspection,
repair, and packaging of products. This role is directed by a Work
Area Supervisor or team leader. Responsibilities Understand
component parts identification, process improvement, and inventory
awareness. Utilize concepts of continuous small batch manufacturing
to reduce assembly lead times. Build sub-assemblies and final
assemblies, calibrate products, and perform required test
procedures. Perform induction soldering when necessary. Label and
package controls for shipment. Mix and apply epoxy as needed.
Implement new assembly aids and fixture procedures. Eliminate
non-value-added activities and practice company-wide reliable
methods. Take action to prevent nonconformity, identify and record
problems related to the product, process, and quality system.
Initiate or recommend solutions and verify their effectiveness.
Maintain a safe working environment by following company safety
procedures. Understand and explain the company's Quality Policy and
its impact on your job. Process all necessary paperwork. Perform
other duties as assigned. Essential Skills Proficiency in assembly
and understanding blueprints. Ability to successfully perform
Electro-Mechanical and/or Electronic manufacturing processes for
multiple product lines. Capability to follow oral and written
English instructions, and basic reading, writing, and math
typically gained through a high school education. Understanding
technical drawing instructions and accurately following them to
produce conforming products. Ability to perform, with supervision,
induction soldering. Additional Skills & Qualifications General
skill sets in 3 or more product and/or process categories.
Willingness to work in a team-based environment and a commitment to
continuous learning. Soldering certification for in-process

Hire position based out of Milford, CT. Pay and Benefits The pay
range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility
requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to
