Job Overview


The Operations Project Manager is responsible for providing design, support, guidance and direction to all projects impacting store operations. This role is also responsible for planning, creating and distributing all initiative and project communications and building a structure to manage all operational projects assigned to deliver projects on time and within budget. The Operations Project Manager works closely with leaders and team members throughout Store Operations and the retail stores.


  • Create and implement goals and standards around Store Operations projects

  • Maintain all supporting documentation related to Store Operations projects and initiatives

  • Provide significant support and communication to all business departments involved with initiatives

  • Identify, design, and prioritize operational and systemic improvements for the Operations department

  • Act as a liaison between Store Operations and all other departments on operational projects

  • Provide ongoing training and mentoring to Store Leaders and Field Support resources on new initiatives and rollouts

  • Develop project charters for all projects to demonstrate and justify the initiative to senior leadership

  • Create long and short-term operational and project plans, including setting targets for milestones, adhering to deadlines and allocating resources

  • Serve as a point of contact for teams when multiple units are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions are aligned

  • Perform quality control throughout all project phases to maintain the standards expected

  • Create and coordinate distribution of communications to relevant business departments and associates regarding current operational projects



  • Associate's degree in business administration or related field required. Bachelor's degree preferred

  • 5 or more year of experience in the retail industry required

  • Proficiency with Qlik, Kronos, Data Scan and Reflexis software applications preferred

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google platform (i.e. sites, slides, drive, docs, sheets)

  • Time Management: You are able to handle multiple projects at once, and can organize multiple projects around given deadlines.

  • Self-motivated: You can work with a minimum amount of supervision and be capable of strategically prioritizing multiple tasks in a proactive manner. You understand the tools and processes needed to meet larger strategic initiatives.

  • Organized: You lead by example in serving all of our stakeholders: customers, owners, communities, and fellow associates.

  • Passionate: You must be passionate about online collaboration and ensuring our clients are successful; we love seeing hunger and ambition.


  • Work primarily in a climate controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard

potential. Sedentary, and frequent near vision use for reading and computer use.
