Job Description The Program Manager is the senior leader responsible for the development and execution of overall demonstration and product development for fuel cell technology. This role is the senior advisor to Response Technologies leadership in decision making relating to the technology. This position is located at Response Technologies headquarters in Coventry, Rhode Island.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Development and execution of overall demonstration and objective product development plan harmonized with team objectives and DOD/Military Business requirements Overall coordination with all organizations involved in the program (Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Customer Service, Finance, Marketing, etc.) Develop, execute, monitor, and report detailed program plans, schedules and budgets, and metrics to meet deliverables Program risk, issues & opportunities (RIO) management plans and execution, especially for High Risk issues.
Program Governance management including the development and maintenance of appropriate relationships with all external/internal customers, partners and suppliers to facilitate the seamless flow of products and information design supplier relationships Interface with our stakeholders, partners, and suppliers on program specific issues, schedules, processes and activities always playing a visible, vital, tactical and strategic role in the formulation and execution of the programs specific plans and actions Assist with the development and support negotiations of new contracts and any amendments to current agreements Executive management reviews Plays a lead role in major supplier selection The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this job. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors Degree At least 10 years of related Program Management, Research and Development, Operations and or Supply Chain experience Experience working in a design and manufacturing environment with a continuous improvement focus Fully competent in necessary project management tools such as MS Project Demonstrated modern program management and agile management techniques Highly motivated and dedicated individual capable of functioning in a very fast-paced environment, with the ability to champion change and lead continuous improvement in the processes and performance of their programs Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills Comfortable reporting program opportunities, plans, progress and initiatives to executive-level management, customers and suppliers Must be detail orientated with a high attention to detail.
Able to travel up to 30 percent (domestic) Must be able to verify U.S. Person Status as defined by International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) Prior service of at least 6 years Aerospace experience Prior work in a DoD prime PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Six Sigma Lean Certification Proven track record dealing with suppliers, customers or the sale of aftermarket products Effective communicating and getting results across functional and site boundaries

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Able to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
