Job Description The EH&S Site Representative provides technical safety and health support to Response Technologies and its employees. They develop and maintain safety, health and technical training programs as well as manage the audit safety programs and provide recommendations to correct hazard conditions and unsafe work conditions and practices. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: I. Partner with leadership to develop and achieve safety and health goals and maintain SOPs for all safe work practices and equipment. II. Observe behaviors in the workplace for safe work practices; provide coaching and recommendations for continuous improvement. III. Responsible for safety orientation, annual safety training, and weekly/daily safety training. Topics include Electrical safety, fire extinguisher use, emergency evacuation / fire department tours, accident investigation/OSHA 300 log, PPE, respirator program, LOTO, hot work, fork truck, confined space, industrial hygiene and laboratory safety Chemical Hygiene plan IV. Maintain effective and timely communication with regards to safety suggestions, safety concerns, and corrective actions. Including vendor management in areas such as fire protection, emergency lighting, contractor safe work permit, hoist & elevator inspections, landscape & snow removal. V. Review injury, illness and near-miss incident investigation reports and follow-up to ensure corrective actions are effective and complete. VI. Understand Federal and State occupational safety and health regulations and environmental protection regulations; ensure compliance and implement regulatory changes as they occur. VII. Investigate adequacy of ventilation, exhaust equipment, lighting, and other conditions which may affect employee health, comfort, or efficiency. VIII. Conduct evaluations of exposure to ionizing and non-ionizing radiation and to noise. IX. Monitor and report all hazardous material generated & transported from facility. X. Responsible for all environmental related record keeping and administration including compliance with all permits, operating conditions and regulatory standards. XI. Identify and evaluate hazardous conditions and practices in the workforce. XII. Maintain Material Safety Data Sheet documentation of chemicals used. XIII. Other duties such as SDS entry /maintenance, develop work order / preventive maintenance system, manage recycling, waste disposal, spill response and access control system. XIV. Perform internal AS9100 audits

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Must have 7+ years of related experience.
Exhibit passion for safety and enthusiasm for continuous improvement.
Proven ability to partner with leadership and employees.
Handel sensitive matters with the highest level of professionalism.
Excellent verbal and written communications.
Microsoft Office including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel at an advanced level.
Ability to perform desk work and walk/stand and be present in manufacturing areas 50-60% for the time.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: A Bachelors degree in Safety Engineering, Industrial Hygiene or Environmental Sciences preferred.
Previous military experience preferably in the aerospace industry. WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: For Non-Union Shop Floor Only Office & heavy industrial environment that includes exposure to grease, oil, heat, humidity, fumes/odors, sparks and loud noises.
