FIGternship Welcome to Falvey Insurance Group's internship program Our 9-week program, for 6 interns, is scheduled to start Monday, June 6, 2022. Our interns are an integral part of our teams working alongside marine insurance and technical professionals. You will gain the following over the course of your internship: Valuable insight into the insurance industry Be exposed to multiple lines of business Education from Senior Management Insight into the marine insurance industry through project based work Potential future employment with Falvey Insurance Group. Interns will focus on projects within various departments including Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities This position requires excellent organizational and interpersonal skills including the ability to multi-task, problem-solve as well as an excellent attention to detail. Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat is desirable, along with ability to use standard office equipment and computer, answer and communicate on the telephone, and lift heavy boxes up to 50 lbs. Recent Graduates and Current College students are encouraged to apply. Hours of Operation and Working Conditions This position---s work hours are Monday through Friday 9am to 5pm in our Rhode Island Headquarters, which is a business-casual office environment.
