Perspectives' Youth & Family Services is seeking a highly motivated
and experienced Licensed Clinician to join our team!
The Licensed Clinician will be primarily responsible for clinical
oversight and supervision of home-based workers within the
Home-Based Therapeutic Service (HBTS) program. The Licensed
Clinician will oversee all aspects of the child's Treatment Plan
and is responsible for reporting on the goals and objectives during
renewal and progress reports as required.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in social work,
mental health counseling, and in behavior analysis and will be
passionate about working with children.
Responsibilities:
Conduct monthly clinical supervision sessions for all home-based
workers responsible for implementing the Treatment Plan in the
child's home.
Analyze treatment data and assess efficacy of treatment
Communicate with all collateral agencies and providers, and keep
all treatment and case records current.
Ensure that agency policies and procedures are implemented
correctly.
Participate in agency activities, serve on committees, and
communicate the agency's values and principles to others.
Assist in staff management and leadership.
Provide training and mentoring to new and existing employees.
Guide and supervise the work of Behavior Technician by setting
clear expectations and monitoring progress.
Recognize and value the skills and input of employees.
Implement best practice measures in relation to all clinical and
counseling responsibilities.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related
field.
Valid license from the Rhode Island Department of Health in Social
Work (LCSW, LICSW), Mental Health Counseling (LMHC), Marriage and
Family Therapist (LMFT), or BCBA.
Experience working with children and families in a therapeutic
setting.
Knowledge of evidence-based practices in the field of mental health
and counseling for children and families.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with other members of the team.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work
effectively.
Have successfully passed BCI and CANTS screening.
