Reporting to E-Shift F&E Utilities Manager, the Maintenance Technician is responsible for operating utility systems and performing maintenance activities throughout the ARI site.Operate a variety of general and pharmaceutical grade utility systems (HVAC, Boilers, chillers, compressed air, purified water systems, waste systems and gases)Perform scheduled and corrective maintenance and repair activities on complex equipment and systems used across the ARI siteTroubleshoot and repair equipment and systemsIdentify equipment performance opportunities and recommends improvements to the maintenance program ownersEnsure activities are accomplished in a safe manner and with qualityWork in a highly productive and efficient manner to maximize the quantity of activities completedStrict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and cGMPsEnsure work is appropriately communicated to system operators and key stakeholdersEnsure work order documentation is completed accurately and completelyIdentify waste, workflow interrupters, and other opportunities for improvement, recommend solutions, and assisting with implementationMaintain a safe work environment through adherence to safety guidelines and policiesIdentify opportunities to learn new skills and actively participate in development that will improve overall team performancePerform utilities operational and maintenance activities with minimal guidanceServes as a mentor to his/her peers in his responsibilitiesProvide coaching, guidance, be a trainer to his/her colleagues in the operation and maintenance of the utilities systemsLead by example and create a positive, respectful, professional and consistent work environment at all timesProvide on time and accurate communication of issues and updates/reports as neededProvide support when required - this may be outside of normal working hours including nights, weekends and holidaysWinWhat we expect of youWe are all different, yet we all use our unique contributions to serve patients.
