We are looking for welders in Warwick, RI with the opportunity to begin immediately. This entry level opportunity has 1st shift available. The main responsibilities are to set up, adjust and operate welding equipment to join various production materials both to meet production specifications. Pay Rate: $19.00 / hour Duties: - Performs basic welding work, to specifications, as part of the manufacturing process. - Performs set-up of welding equipment and safety devices in accordance with production documentation. - Positions production materials and tooling and maintains proper dimensions according to print specifications. - Properly adjusts and operates welder according to prescribed methods and procedures. - Maintains equipment and materials necessary to complete the operation. - Performs work in a timely manner to ensure production schedules are met. - Ensures that products and systems meet Schroff quality specifications. Position Requirements: - High School graduate or equivalent. - Welding certificate, or equivalent experience, preferred - Ability to read and write, in order to comply with written instructions and complete job-related paperwork - Working in a safe environment - M-F, 6-2 Requirements: Background Check, Drug Test, Must be at least 18 years old.Able to Lift 40 pounds., required education: HS Diploma or GED.
