Sr. Product Management Consultant, Multi-cloud Platform Product Management
Product Management is responsible for the cross-functional management of products or solutions through their entire lifecycle. Using a wealth of technical and industry experience, Product Managers work across functional areas to implement our products or solutions.Product Managers are advocates for the customer in the organization and will undertake a thorough analysis of the markets to ensure we maximize profitability and adjust our product strategies to respond to competition. The role also involves acting as subject matter experts for internal and external product events or partner meetings. The Product Manager develops the strategy and definition of the Product and is responsible to rationalizing the market dynamics along with the customer goals to guide engineering and other cross-functional teams to deliver to the customer requirements. You will become part of global product management team delivering hybrid infrastructure solutions and drive requirements for end point serviceability of the platforms. You will work with our services organization to understand customer and support pain points and drive serviceability requirements in our product portfolio. You will also work with third party vendors to identify use cases and requirements to make our products easily manageable via integrated management control plane.You will:

  • Develop overall product vision and strategy taking market trends and customer requirements into consideration.
  • Work with partners to understand their technology ecosystem to drive common product requirements.
  • Define product release and lifecycle management strategy and requirements
  • Define sw licensing, tiering and fulfilment strategy and requirements

  • 10+ years of experience with enterprise-class hardware and software products esp. in servers, external storage, converged or hyper converged space.
  • Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and technical depth in one of key ecosystems such as RedHat OpenShift, EKS-A, Anthos, etc.
  • Technical understanding of the core infrastructure elements and how cloud and IT operations teams manage them throughout their lifecycle.
  • Experience with all phases of product management, product definition, development, and test of software products.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to influence other both internally and externallyDesirable Skills
  • Understanding of Dell's Offer Lifecycle Process for product development.
