Position Summary: The Service Technician is responsible for
servicing previously installed gutter protection system at
customer's home based on established service ticket requests. This
individual will provide outstanding customer service in the course
of service repairs, inspections, etc.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- - - - - - - - - - Perform necessary services onsite based on
logged service ticket and onsite inspection
- - - - - - - - - - Communicate to local office and/or service
department on completed services and/or issues in the field
- - - - - - - - - - Services may include the following:
o - - - Gutter Protection: pitch correction, caulking, basic soffit
and fascia repairs, and partial reinstallation, etc.
o - - - Home Safety: bath and shower caulking, panel replacement,
stairlift adjustments, wet-space fixtures, etc.
o - - - Water: system resets and adjustments, plumbing connections,
fixture replacement, partial reinstallation, etc.
o - - - Home Enhancements: window caulking, molding/trim, bucking,
cabinet refacing, door realignment, etc.
- - - - - - - - - - Log services performed in service ticket system
accurately and timely
- - - - - - - - - - Proactively engage with customers to provide an
outstanding customer service experience
- - - - - - - - - - Follow established job site safety rules, OSHA
guidelines and company safety policies and procedures
- - - - - - - - - - Must be comfortable ascending and descending
ladders of varying heights to perform services.
- - - - - - - - - - Must hold a valid driver's license.
- - - - - - - - - - Frequent travel in assigned local region
- - - - - - - - - - Performs other duties as assigned by
supervisor

Experience and Minimum Qualifications:
- - - - - - - - - - High School Diploma or equivalent.
- - - - - - - - - - Experience in remodeling, home improvement,
other basic constriction services or related field
- - - - - - - - - - Active and valid drivers license
- - - - - - - - - - Reliable truck, van or SUV that can carry
ladders
- - - - - - - - - - Multi-height and adjustable ladders (28+ feet
in height)
- - - - - - - - - - Functioning tools to include drills, speed
square, saw or grinder, etc.
- - - - - - - - - - Some positions may require additional tools to
complete onsite services
- - - - - - - - - - Ability to juggle various work activities and
shift their attention from one task to another to meet the demands
of different stakeholders without "dropping the ball".
- - - - - - - - - - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy,
team-oriented environment and have a "roll up your sleeves" and
"today not tomorrow" mentality.
- - - - - - - - - - Apply active listening skills through the
ability to comprehend information presented and respond
thoughtfully.
- - - - - - - - - - Detail-oriented and can focus on the task at
hand, no matter how minute, by finding the most efficient and
effective pathway to completion.

parties in a manner that is both articulate and professional.

and evaluate arguments, find inconsistencies and errors in work,

keeps the co-worker or customer's needs at the forefront of every
interaction.

various heights.

(Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and/or Access).

of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g.,
H1B status).

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications:
- - - - - - - - - - Prior experience in gutter and gutter
protection system installation
- - - - - - - - - - Prior skilled trades experience in plumbing,
electric, and/or carpentry
- - - - - - - - - - Prior experience in residential home
improvement in areas such as walk-in tubs, one day baths, kitchen
refacing, replacement windows, stairlifts, and/or water filtration
systems

Travel Requirements:
- - - - - - - - - - More than 50% domestic travel required.

Overtime/Additional Hours Requirements:
- - - - - - - - - - May be requested to work overtime on evenings
and weekends dependent on business need.

Physical Requirements
- - - - - - - - - - Normal Office Environment and Field
Office/Manufacturing/Construction Environment
- - - - - - - - - - Performs indoor work in a climate-controlled
environment and outside work in varying temperatures and
climates.
- - - - - - - - - - Medium work. Exerting up to 50 pounds of force
occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up
to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
