industry.General OverviewWe are looking to add an Inside Sales
Representative to join the Guest Services & Sales Team. We are
seeking a creative team player and an exceptional communicator. The
Guest Services & Sales Department is the first point of contact for
our guests. The new Inside Sales Representative will optimize
revenue and guest satisfaction via direct-to-consumer sales. You
will communicate with prospective guests with the intent to convert
leads into reservations. The ideal candidate will have experience
with warm leads as this role will not cold call, but will convert
these leads into revenue. Success will be measured by this
conversion rate. You will also be responsible for fostering
relationships with third-party partners who provide leads.Essential
Functions
- Identify, pursue, track and close new reservation sales based
on availability - very little cold calling.
- Communicate with potential customers via phone, text message,
email, and online messaging in accordance with Heirloom's internal
policies and procedures.
- Represent the Heirloom brand in all communications and
interactions, with specific emphasis on providing effective and
professional customer service in writing.
- Accept inbound calls from prospective guests and make outbound
calls to guests as needed to answer questions and facilitate
sales.
- Preempt, understand, and address customer needs and
requirements - find creative ways to cross-sell.
- Build rapport with customers through friendly, professional,
and engaging communication.
- Meet and exceed revenue goals.
- Use a variety of tools, such as revenue reports, to determine
pricing and discounts to book business.
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize guest experience
during their stay.
- Assist with customer support for in-house guests on an
as-needed basis.
- Participate and contribute to all scheduled departmental
meetings.RequirementsThis is a full-time, remote position, with a
minimum of 40 working hours scheduled each week. Working hours can
be scheduled between 8:00 am CST and midnight CST. Weekend and
evening availability is required.
- Compensation for this role is salaried and will range between
$5M-$6M Colombian pesos/month ($1200-$1500 USD/month) - the exact
exchange rate from USD to COP may vary. The exact rate of pay will
depend on the candidate's qualifications and experience. For
candidates with 5+ years of supervisory experience or those with
experience in this industry, compensation can range up to $7-$8M
COP/month.
- In addition to base salary, there are incentive/bonus
opportunities available.Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Excellent command of the English language, spoken and
written.
- 3+ years of experience working in a contact center environment
for a US-based company where 100% of the workday is conducted in
English, either in a sales or customer service capacity.
- Comfortable using cloud-based platforms to manage and organize
work such as cloud-based phone systems and online messaging
platforms. Learning new technology should feel intuitive.
- Reliable access to a strong internet connection, able to work
from home in a quiet setting.
