Lynn Community Health Center. In this role you will: Optimize
patient satisfaction, provider time and exam room utilization by
maintaining patient flow, keeping appointments on schedule by
alerting provider of patient’s arrival, reviewing service delivery
compared to schedule, and reminding provider of delays. Assure
efficient patient visit by assuring all appropriate data,
documentation, reports and forms are available to the provider
prior to the visit. Obtain brief history of chief complaint/reason
for visit, allergy status and other pertinent information on the
appropriate EHR. Prepare patient for examination and/or treatment
by the provider, reviewing time out policy, obtaining all patient
consents for minor and major procedures, providing instructions and
overview of treatment, answer any patient questions Assess patient
needs prior to dental treatment to ensure all necessary instruments
and equipment are available during procedure, varies by procedure.
The successful applicant will offer : Active Massachusetts
Licensure in Dental Assistant through the Board of Registration in
Dentistry. Up-to-date in all continuing education requirements, as
established by the Board of Registration in Dentistry required.
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Radiology Certificate
required through a University program required. CPR/AED certified.
Graduate of a Dental Assistant Training Program with a successfully
completed externship experience and/or equivalent on-the-job
experience verified by the Board of Registration in Dentistry.
Bi-lingual in Spanish /Khmer/Russian with knowledge of dental and
medical terminology preferred. Exceptional attendance and a
positive work attitude. A desire to work as a collaborative member
of a multi-disciplinary team.
