Position Summary

The Senior Endpoint Computing and Client Architecture Technical Manager role will be responsible for the overall architecture, deployment and management of Endpoint Managements, Virtual Desktop Services solutions and Application Delivery Services such as VMware Workspace One, Microsoft Intune, Identity and Password Management, Account Administration, Microsoft O365 Infrastructure, Encryption and other client technologies. This includes but is not limited to planning, design, implementation and management of the entire architecture, infrastructure, and application. The Senior Endpoint Computing and Client Architecture Technical Manager will work directly with different teams within IT and our customers to ensure 100% adoption of the solutions, both in and out of the office. This role will report to the Chief of IT Infrastructure and Operations. Further, this role will manage a team of client technology engineers.

Essential Job Responsibilities
Lead the Endpoint Computing and Client Architecture Team
Project Manage and Execute implementation of new technologies. Implement enterprise service initiatives or new technology deployments
Perform assessment of current SCCM architecture with the intention of identifying issues related to design, health, and functionality.
Perform assessment of current Password Management process and tool
Work with the Office of the Chief Information Security Officer to align with Cybersecurity strategy and understand shared responsibilities
Work with the Office of the Chief Information Security Officer to support the Information Technology Security and Risk Program Management Plan by ensuring the execution of Enterprise Security Control Compliance, including endpoint vulnerability scanning and patch management.
Designing, Planning, and Implementing a Unified Endpoint Management solutions.
Plan, implement, and continuously assess endpoint configuration standards.
Leading testing and comparing systems and services like VMware Workspace One, Microsoft Windows Virtual Desktops and Microsoft Intune.
Management of site communications for/with deployed technology. (Bandwidth, Senders, Secondary Sites, etc.)
Lead Role-Based Administration: Managing custom roles and security scopes General monitoring of related infrastructure health.
Lead Planning, configuring and implementing a backup plan to mitigate the loss of EM services in the event of a disaster with the least amount of data loss possible.
Lead complete documentation of the newly implemented Endpoint Management infrastructure and architecture
Develop metrics and reports using EM data to aide in asset management activities.
Lead the delivery of training to the primary users of EM who will be deploying patches and applications on the configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting processes.
Lead the delivery of training to the infrastructure team on the support needed to maintain the newly deployed EM infrastructure if any.
Analyze current Operating System Deployment methods and determine if Endpoint Management can be used to improve the current process.

Minimum Requirements
Bachelor' s Degree or equivalent experience
Demonstrated knowledge and technical proficiency managing an Endpoint Management solution and Client Architecture Team. Competency to oversee multiple staff and simultaneous projects and services.
Encouragement and motivation of staff to complete common organizational goals
Ability to execute and deploy IT initiatives end to end. Ensure that projects are aligned with the overall objectives of the client
Knowledge of directory services, email services and end point management solutions
7+ years working with SCCM or other endpoint management solution as a technical lead. Solid grasp of standard client/server, Networking and Internet fundamentals System Center Configuration Manager 2007/2012/Current Branch Infrastructure Design Experience in a medium to large environment (professional certifications a plus)
Troubleshoot all aspects of the Endpoint Management solutions effectively and understand the product flow encompassing software distribution, patch management, operating system deployment and logging in detail
Experience designing, deploying, managing, and configuring virtual and physical workstation environments using Windows 10.
Experience with enterprise desktop deployments and management, including application package development and enterprise system refreshes.
Ability to create and manage profiles, manage apps and create compliance rules using an MDM platform (Intune/SCCM).
Ability to create, troubleshoot and run Powershell scripts as it pertains to endpoint management.
Ability to manage iOS/iPadOS and Android within Intune.
Knowledge of and experience with Azure, Office 365 Administration, and client applications (certifications a plus)
Experience Supporting Data Encryption on Endpoints (BitLocker, McAfee or similar products).
Ability to communicate moderately difficult technical matters to internal customers and IT Leadership.
Experience administering an Active Directory environment (certification a plus)
SQL, IIS, WSUS, AD knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
Understand the fundamentals of WMI.
Scripting and Report Writing Personal Attributes Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Ability to clearly communicate ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language, to include presentations (PPT)
Ability to perform general mathematical calculations for the purpose of building business cases, budgets, and so on.
Proven analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-growing company.
Exceptional customer service orientation.
Extensive experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
Extensive exposure to the ITIL and ITSM Best Practices (ITIL Certification a plus); Service Now ITSM experience a plus
Capability to assist business partners customers or third-party resources with technical issues
